I imagine Ocado were mainly in the South of England but as the company grew they did extend further north but not sure they ever reached Scotland, but I could be wrong on that score. However the point of my comment was that part of the tie up with Waitrose was the insistence that the minimum order value was £60 (Ocado didn't make a profit for years!) However with the split Waitrose have been able to lower their minimum order value to £40 which I imagine opens up their customer catchment quite a bit and might suit yourself to save visits to supermarkets?

Around me I see those not wearing a mask use a face shield. If they feel not able to wear a mask but using a face shield I am fine.

Why would anybody carry a cumbersome face shield rather than a mask which easily slips in the pocket?

Why need to"carry "a face shield?wear it as many do in this area ,all the time   as many also do with masks ,which may well be the next move to increase protection for us all,and a face shield is lees problamatic for those "exempt?"

Perhaps we need a "must wear a mask or face-shield" outside of the home without exception policy. No ifs or buts and strictly policed with an immediate fine for non-compliance. Similarly, if police visited "beauty spots/ leisure destinations" and applied immediate fine if vehicle registered more than 10 miles from the location might discourage what appears to be a lot of unnecessary travel.

It was one of the experts  during an earlier press conference who when asked if the two metre social distancing was enough, replied

"It seems to be but wearing a mask as well would be even safer"

Agree with the last part but there is no evidence that I've seen that wearing a mask in the open is needed or helps with stopping the virus?

Again without exception? There are medical ones.

I agree, why didn't I think of that. I suppose it is because I am never near people except inside a shop or about to enter and a mask is always in my pocket.

I've just been looking at the Ocado site, they even run it via Alexa so you can "speak" your order. Although they charge for orders under £75 they have a smart pass system for cheaper products. There's a post code check to see if your area is covered. During this heightened part of the epidemic  it's another possible delivery option for some. We've got Ocado in our area.

Then wear a visor, as I said. We've got a body count of over 1,000 a day. We can't afford  a 'pretty please' approach.

Again wearing a visor may mot be possible either for medical reasons. There is not a pretty please approach, the rules are quite clear.

are you wearing a face covering when outside CY?

In general I feel no need to wear a mask when out and about in the open air as at such times there is nobody near me. I might feel (probably would) feel different on a busy street.
