Cold Coming

Good evening it has been a while since i last started a post , but this is just a message to remind everyone that the cold weather is coming from tonight , an expected country side temperature of -4 . so if you are getting ready for a trip away make sure you take care on the roads . i was told earlier that round us 4 gritters were seen out and about .

yeh winter is finally on it's way

That'll upset the toadstools in my lawn. They think it must be Autumn and have started to reappear now, instead of next August.

A good time to check any elderly neighbours are ready for the cold spell , that have have some spare food and their heating is working ok, or if they need any shopping done ...

Agree there HD! Apart from looking after my M and D, we keep an eye on other elderly relatives and an elderly neighbour!

Looks as though we're going to get a big drop in temperature. We never usually worry about plants in our garden but we've got a tall plant from Cornwall which has grown well and for the first time ever we've wrapped up a plant.
