I was just in the back garden catching up on a bit of weeding when I became aware that something was moving about just to my right. I glanced over and was surprised to see it was a pigeon, only 3 or 4 feet away, pecking at some bird food that had dropped from our feeder. It is common to see woodpigeons in the garden but they fly off as soon as you approach whereas this homing pigeon was not afraid to come within 2ft or 3ft away. It has a purple tag and orange tag on its right leg and a white tag on its left leg. I have supplied it with water and more seeds. I suppose it will be on its way after it has rested up.Undecided
