Censorship

As some of you may know I am an academic noted for having a rather irreverant view on the strait-jacket of discussion.

Until January I worked from Senate House, the federal building of London University.

In the second world war senate house found itself at the heart of the battle for hearts and minds. It was the building that Hitler wanted as his london HQ. It also housed the infamous "999", a staff of just under one thousand from the Ministry of information that practiced censorship.

Is censorship a good or bad thing?
