Ordered some window cleaning fluid at lunchtime today, using B&Q's 'click and collect' system, thinking that this would speed up the collection process.
The goods were showing as in stock at our local branch.
Just as I got to the end of the payment process, their web site crashed. I didn't receive an email confirmation, but payment was taken from my card.
Called at B&Q on the way home. "Ah no, you cannot collect until the next day, and you need the email order confirmation".
If I hadn't bothered with their web site I could have just bought it there and then!
Rang their "customer services". After an hour of hanging on and being cut off once, I was given an order number to quote and told that their email system wasn't working.
I shan't be troubling B&Q with any more orders......
