Bone Idle Dog Owners

just a quick thankyou to the ignorant clown who let their dog crap directly outside our caravan. You will be pleased (or maybe not) to know the warden without hesitation has cleaned it up. For your information if you call in at the office I am sure they would give you a few bags because you see,it is YOUR dog and it would save them a job in their already busy schedule.

Happy New Year -

It's not the Warders job to clean up their Customer's dog mess. frown   It is however their job to tell the offending owners to pack up and leave the site forthwith. . smile

I do wish that those non members who delight in attempting disruption within threads would refrain from using derogatory terms such as 'warder' when referring to our usually excellent wardens

You have to catch them in the act before you can do anything and these people are very sly - ie walks late at night or early morning when no one  is around

Absolutely disgusting why would you not clean up after your own dog ? if you have forgotten poo bags go back and fetch them no excuse

I am 100% confident that not one of us on this forum will defend irresponsible dog owners who demonstrate such appalling behaviour. However, as it is only a tiny proportion of the membership who use this forum, the message is not reaching the right ears.

We already have a discussion for dog related posts here https://www.caravanclub.co.uk/club-together/discussions/sites-touring/uk-sites-touring/dogs-and-touring/ This section is not the right place to post.

Whilst I have complete sympathy with the OP I am not convinced another lengthy discussion on a subject which comes up from time to time will actually solve the issue. Might I suggest to the OP that if he is inclined to write a site review that he mentions it in that. I will lock this thread in accordance to the Community Managers instructions.

Well said, David, but it’s worth pointing out that we’re asked not to use the other thread for complaints as these should be taken up with the warden and head office where necessary.
