Black Friday

Just tell me when it's over.  Adverts are driving me nuts.  Not been through the door.

The most pathetic thing I've heard was a 12 year old asking his dad what they would be doing for Black Friday.  I give up.

Same here other than going for our walk, not been out the house. Wouldn't dream of going into town today or tomorrow either. Really looking forward to our holiday away soon, just to get away from all the madness.

Got tickets to see J K Rowlings latest £3  each as it was a "black friday" deal

Another americanism we seem to have taken up that means nothing as far as i,m concerned.Still if you got a bargain then thats fair enough.

Don't knock Black Friday - I was at the Livingston Retail Outlet today and bought a very nice watch for 30% off the outlet retail price which in it'self is much less than the real retail price. -- I'm happy ..

We went to Tesco in Burnley this morning, usual Friday morning stock up. They were selling lots of TVs. Didn't check the price, we already have one, but a lot of people were buying them....

I was afaraid it might be Black Friday but OH's car passed its MOT, so not black. 

Some very good bargains to be had.

Rather than feel like a 'victim', I would suggest that people take advantage. It is the suppliers who are the victims, as they feel the need to offer (in some cases) significant discounts that they wouldn't normally offer.

Got a couple of good buys in John Lewis today. Trouble is the handbag Margaret wanted had a good discount on it so now need to rack my brains to think of something else for her!!!!
