BA v Ryanair

Did you notice the BA flight that was supposed to be going to Düsseldorf but landed at Edinburgh (due to the wrong flight plan being filed)?

Anyway Ryan Air posted on Twitter a book that BA could read: Geography for dummies.

Apparently it has backfired as twitter users have given Ryan air their own book suggestions including

Customer Service for Dummies and Employment Law for Dummies

Made me chuckle anywaysmile

Irony isn't dead. Ryanair has a great tendency for moving various places around to suit their aircraft rather than the other way around.laughing

Ah yes, the famous "Alicante South" practically into Murcia province. Other spurious destinations are available.

I rarely say never but for sure I will never, never fly with Ryan Air.  Once was once too often

I have used them a lot, especially the East Midlands to Pisa route. Some have been very cheap, as low as £9.99 each way return, and £43 pounds later in May this year. Yes the price will go up for 'extras' like bags and printing but if you know that and plan around it and expect the worst then it usually works out OK.

My step grand daughter works for BA, although mainly long haul. Could be a bit more embarrassing if the Sydney flight ended up in Rioembarassed Not quite so easy to sort out!!!

Thank goodness for choice in everything - cheap cars/ expensive cars, UK holidays/ abroad, no frills flying/ First class.

Ryanair’s lucky dip landing might prove even more popular than long-standing lucky dip accommodation deals. What comes next? Lucky dip suitcase allocation on arrival - Think I’ll stick with Sat Nav and our own caravan.
