Awning/canopy for small van

We have an Elddis Vogue1997 2 berth caravan we love, but finding an awning or sun canopy that's shorter than normal is very difficult. Unlike modern vans with a flat roofline the straight part of ours is only 1.7 metres before the roofline slopes down to the front, and the smallest awning I can find is 2 metres. Does anyone know of a company that makes very small ones? Any help appreciated.

A sun canopy to fit should be easier to find than an awning.

Generally if they are of the type that extends down the sides (e.g. NR sun canopy) you don't need to go ground-to-ground as they are secured using bungee loops to pegs...  A straight forward 'flat' canopy such as the Isabella Eclipse is even less exacting regarding fit - and doesn't need a flat roofline either.  I know this type is quite expensive when new - but Ebay or Gumtree might throw up a bargain!

Years ago we had a Bradcot Princess acrylic awning - size 750... but we had it tailored to 715.  There are a fair few places that can tailor an awning.  Speak to them first as they might advise how much it is possible to reduce by.  That way you don't end up with an awning that cannot be tailored!  Good luck.
