And ... relax...

Folk seem Uber stressed already, and we're still a week away from Christmas Day.

Stress #1-in a Village close by I stepped onto the Road to allow Folk to get by due to the narrow Village path, a Lady pulled up & stopped close to me on Double Yellow lines. She flung the Car door open, climbed out & looked at me & said-"I can park here if I want, I have a blue badge". I just looked at Her bemused, She then berated me for looking at Her. I shook my Head and walked away. I could hear Her Grizzling for yards.

Stress #2-stepping into a Shop I paused to allow someone to get out whilst holding open the Door, a 'Mature' Lady bumped into me from behind, stepped into the Shop & hit the person coming out that I'd given way to, she looked at the person She'd bumped into & said-"don't blame me, it's the idiot stood in the Doorway who caused it", then shuffled off.

i am so glad this happens only once a year, and the rude Folk out there are in the minority. There are some very stressed individuals out there, who lose all sense & courtesy this time of the year
