I have just had the test and it appears that I have a 6.5cm Aneurysm and will be having an operation on 1st May to rectify this, (I hope!).
I have had to cancel most of our bookings as I have been told not to drive and that my insurance would be invalid if I did, until, I get the all clear!
This, obviously, came as a bit of a shock but am trying to be positive about it all.
I can only suggest that anyone who has not had this test done arranges an appointment either direct or through their GP as it is a ticking time bomb should you have one.
I have told my children to get their's checked asap too as I wouldn't wish this on anyone. I'm told that it can be hereditry so have also asked my sister to get her's checked too, although it is less common in women.
Please take the test!
