A second childhood?

Last week while on holiday in Bridlington my OH hired an adult tricycle from a scheme called “All Ride” located on the north shore, they provide adapted cycles for people with disability issues. My OH cannot walk very far or fast and needs a crutch to aid balance so her riding the tricycle meant that I could walk faster and further. We liked it so much that yesterday we ordered a new folding tricycle from a shop in Fleetwood; it comes complete with backrest support and to our surprise even though it is made in Kent it was ready to collect from the shop today in just 24 hours! Tomorrow weather permitting we will visit the local park for a trial ride. Being foldable it fits easily in the boot of our X trail meaning we can take it with us when away in the caravan [so be warned].Wink

Anyone else thought of buying a tricycle? Smile
