£1 coin use by date

Remember to use your old £1 coins by the 15th October, but if you have found any down the back of the sofa ,etc why not pop down your local shop and put them in a charity box ,after all if they were down the back of the sofa you won't miss them and a charity will benifit

I read somewhere that banks and Post offices will continue to take in the old round pounds even after the cut off date! question is what happens to the pound note I found looking for round pounds!
