Cider .....a proper drink

Depends on what mood I’m in. I like a good draught bitter, and you can’t better a glass of Laphroaig with a drop of water in the evening.

Depends.. With a meal, red wine. At a pub, hand pulled real ales ( I never drink any pressure fed rubbish ). In the evening a single malt. In the summer Westons cider.

THAT  Reminds  me  of  a  certain  quote  from  somewhere  --

When  I  want  a  drink  I  usually  have  Craft  Beer  or  Whisky,  when  I'm  dirty  I'll  use  water 

I'm partial to a drop of single malt. One of my favourites is The Dalmore, The Glenturret is another.

As long as it is wet, red, alcoholic that will do me fine.

Same for me, except the red bit is not really needed!

I remember  my army days whilst in Scotland for the Annual Winter Camp. and the last thing before bed was a double shot of Loch Nagar single malt whiskey. Slept like a top.

Lochnagar? I thought that was a "big 'ole" in Belgium. Not sure if it was the one that Bruce Bairnsfather had in mind.
