Made to Aggravate.

Has anyone any views on products or services seemingly designed to annoy the user? Comedian Ben Elton used to include a section on just this subject in his stage act. One I found particularly amusing was about those stainless steel teapots in cafes which when used always let the tea out around the lid and all over the table! How difficult can it be to design a teapot? A couple of mine are those bubble packs from diy stores containing say a few small bolts or screws with that almost impenetrable tough plastic cover that can only be opened with a sharp knife. I always get cut by the knife or the plastic itself. Made to aggravate. Also that useless strip of cloth inside 2 of my jackets that always gets caught in the zip and is so difficult to remove. What is the point of them? Surely just designed to aggravate. Don't get me started on multichoice answer services on some helplines. I know that in the grand scheme of things they don't amount to much, but when confronted with them they're infuriating. Rant over. What do others think.

Tins, have never found them really easy to open and the ones with ring pulls that break off in your hand....and the flat ones with fish in them, usually an oil or brine spillage involved. wink

Pull apart bags of food that explode or rip spilling the contents on the floor!

Better to use those scissors if you can get through that packaging
