I Remember When

There's  a  few  on  here  I'd  like  to  'crown'    mutter  mutter

Sorry,  I  was  remembering  those  olden  days  when  I  was much  more tolerant  than  I  am  ever  likely  to  be  again 

Saturday night dances in the Village Hall in the 60's (pre pop and disco).

Having to endure dancing lessons in our comp school, boys one side of the hall, girls on the other, torture!

Are  we  to  assume  you  preferred  them  to  be  all  of  a  huddle  Brue  ??

It was all very polite ABM but us girls had to wait for a boy to walk across and ask for a dance, you never knew who that might be and as it was school you couldn't refuse...probably not much fun for the boys either..

Oh, that brings back memories... For me it was junior school and country dancing. One boy had a crush on me so every session he would race across the hall and grab my hand, it was so embarrassing! And he his nose ran constantly so I couldn't look at him, but I never wanted to hurt his feelings (or touch his hands). Excruciating
