Some cars had air vents in the front wings,to open and give you fresh air around the legs .Surprised.

Starting handles. My first car was actually a van which I had to crank start. 1800cc Commercial engine took some turning

When the front windows in Minis slid sideways to open (and there was moss growing in the grooves)

Which  a  bloke  could  open  with a  ( normally  Steel )  comb  unless  the  crafty  owner  had  swapped  the  catches  side for  side,  then  it  required  a  slightly more technical  steel comb  with  the teeth removed  !!  Ah  yes,  Technical  Engineering  at  HN3  was never  wasted  time  Embarassed
