OK,  for anyone who did the place names quiz, here's another slightly different one. I wrote this one in 2016 to mark the queen's 90th birthday.

All the clues relate to events in her lifetime - example

1954 - RBRFSFMM would be Roger Bannister runs first sub four minutes mile.

So how many can you do - remember on quiz nights mobile phones and Google consultations are not allowed!

Good luck - I'll leave them on till the weekend again for anyone wanting a go. smile

1) 1928 - W (OTO) A to V
2) 1940 - BAE from D
3) 1947 - SLAR to F
4) 1948 - F of NHS
5) 1954 - RBRFSFMM

I'm confident on 3 answers: no.4, no.13 and no.5 (πŸ˜‚)....don't think my brain "gets"this style of quiz....I'm pretty rubbish at cryptic crosswords too😒

OK - the answers are coming up in the next post. I've checked back on my scorecards for the quizzes I used this in and the average score (remember for teams of 4 or 6) was 15, so I reckon if you got 5 or more you can give yourself a pat on the back.

I've found another "place names" quiz so look out for it when we get another cold, rainy day (such as tomorrow by all accounts! wink)

Thebells I think I'd have done rubbish in an actual quiz night, but just reading through the questions and returning again the next day solved several. My brain, what you've got one? I hear you ask 🀣, must work in a very strange way!
