Y.      Yellow browed warbler.

(hope to see some in Norfolk next month)

Don't think they are classed as British are they Pliers?

If not then Yellowhammer

Depends one what you define as British. A passage migrant, sometimes in their thousands on the East coast in Autumn. Hope to see some in Norfolk next month.

Not sure but I think the  ' British ' definition means, if the bird nests in Britain.

E.     Eider.

(definitely a bird that nests in Britain. Not so sure about your Waxwing though H.H. ) Only joking, we're on Fun & Trivia after all.

Grebe - a superior sort of duck.

You wouldn't think that if you were an angler. They eat too many fish..Baaaaaa
