If Walkers as they say use British Potatoes how do they justify a "Brexit" price hike.Pofiteering or not? We will boycott them from now on. and hopefully the likes of Tesco take them off their shelves just like Marmite.

Do people actually pay for these overpriced branded crisps, nothing wrong with supermarket own brand multipacks.

According to them its only the potatoes that are from the uk,so another reason for not buying them Undecided

What else is there in crisps?

A bit of salt? Yeah, that would really warrant a price rise.

Disgraceful, profiteering people.

If they need to save money, get rid of that footballing, philandering idiot that they pay a fortune to.

What else Ian? Oil, extruded plastics in the packaging, cardboard containers, printing etc etc. But the potatoes are grown by UK farmers. Smile

One of the fryers in my local chip shop makes crisps. He slices a potato on a mandolin and makes far more than would go into a bag from each potato. They go into a small tray with a bit of salt for the customers to munch on when waiting for food. I don't think I will ever want to eat cold crisps out of a packet ever again.

I tried 'Real crisps' a couple of years back and although I don't really eat them now due to watching my weight, they were some of the nicest crisps I have ever had.

I used to make my own crisps - easy enough to do - perhaps its time to do it again!

Write your comments here...yeah but there's only about 2 varieties you can use Pippah. Trying to get hold of them is very hard.
