I don't know if anyone has mentioned them on here before but I have just bought and tried them. A fantastic, no hassle cup of fresh coffee. (I bought the No3) Just right for a weekend away int wagon. Got them in Sainsbugs

Bags, powders, cartridges, etc all produce ersatz.  I have a proper (small) espresso machine in the caravan and get delicious black coffee with great crema.

"Do you want steamed milk with that?"

Tigerfish, you do get different sizes of coffee with the nespresso machine. There's a push button on each side of the machine and you set them for how much water you want.  My husband likes a mugful so uses the lungo pods and and one button.  I like smaller cups so use different pods and the other button!  We're both happy.

RJLJ,

Thanks for that!  Will give it a try.  I love decent coffee but not in Italian strength & sizes!  That might solve a problem!

Yes you can adjust the quantity of water per shot on the capsule machines, but the amount of coffee in the cap just isn't up to a big shot. I use two capsules for a big mug, costs me a fortune ! A coffee marketeer's dream.

Could be hotter but okay if you preheat the mug with the steam. My biggest gripe is too much froth from ours, the in-laws similar machine is much better.

But still a tasty treat.

Have to admit we have a Nespresso machine in the caravan. We have a bean to cup machine at home but that is to big and heavy to take otherwise we would.Worried
