George Foreman Indoor and Outdoor Grill

Doesn’t look bad for the price. Long delivery stated on the link you gave. If you go on the GF website you can download the user manual, however it’s not that informative. Looking at the ribbed grill plate I don’t think pizzas will be very successful though.

As it's electric, you will only be able to use it on EHU, but i guess you know that.

We looked at them but opted for a teppanyaki 'griddle' instead as we felt it would be more use to us for the types of meals we cook and it does most things that I would normally grill at home, i.e. steaks, fish, sausages, bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes, eggs.   We have a low wattage version and think it's ideal.

There are some poor reviews ,but noticed they are on sale at B&M so you could pop in and see, also cheaper than Amazon which may keep some money in the uk and help save our high streets

Having had a smaller George Foreman version and wanting to upgrade I managed to convince my Wife that the GF indoor / outdoor grill was the way to go! I'd seen one on sale at TJ Hughes for £49.99 and being tighter than a ducks what's it I blew most of my pocket money on it. Since then we have lived on grilled food every chance I get. It far outshines our old GF in that the lid makes it similar to an oven, cooking the food more evenly. It cooks wonderful corn on the cob which the old, non lidded version struggled with and burgers, sausages, hash browns, waffles,onion rings and my wife's favourite grilled tomato's are perfection.

I wouldn't be without my GF. We even cooked inside the awning last weekend when we had a spot of rain. Rain! What a novelty!

We haven't given pizza a go yet but who knows....one day!!

My mates and I were recently in Swanage and realised we couldn't live on portable BBQs all trip. We were planning more camping trips later this year, too.

We just had a whip around and split the bill for a new BBQ. Had a look at Foreman, similar to the one you've posted. Wasn't sure about the reviews. Ended up with one of these smokeless charcoal ones. My mate grabbed it locally so I can't remember where he got it in town.

Purchased the George Forman Barbeque from B and M today at the price of £69. I thought it would be brilliant going by all the reviews I have read but it was not what I expected. One of the main things we wanted was removable plate for cleaning, as these grills are a nightmare to clean. We examined the grill and realised that yes it was removable but you could not wash the grill in water as the electric component is attached to the grill. This defeats the object of removable grill as you can only wipe it down and not able to soak the grill for cleaning. Also the element underneath is a circle around the outside of the grill so you will not get much heat in the middle of the grill. We will carry on using our hot plate unless we find something better. Also it is 2400 watts so be careful on some of the campsites,it could trip the electric.

We have a George Foreman Indoor/Outdoor Grill which we purchased to replace a gas BBQ. We only use it at home. So far very pleased with it. Easy to keep clean and it channels any excess fat into a container. It cooks well.  We were originally interested in the Weber electric BBQ but quite frankly felt that it was too expensive for the amount of use we would give it. Main benefit is that you don't get any smoke like a charcoal BBQ and its ready to use in minutes.
