We seem to be spending vast amounts on storing, trapping and reducing co2. yet today we see that we are now generating the stuff to keep food on the supermarket shelves longer. Does any of this make sense?

We rarely agree with each other JVB  but I think like me you don't come on here telling lies to score points.  if you report information from a member if your family with,  first hand knowledge of a subject I believe you. There may be mistakes at times in anything we post but too often now inconvenient  truths are rubished as "porkies " or "fake news" its a nasty import from across the water thats a substitute  for reasoned discussion among adults.

‘News that’s fake’. . .It don’t need to come from anywhere particularly in the World it’s blatantly & universally obvious what it means👍🏻. Some folk regularly post things that are obviously fake news-no mistakes at all just insidious & malicious to add false plausibility. Happy to help🙂

I think that is where you and I, have a major problem with some posters   Who try to rubbish posts for what end is in their narrow minds?

If it does not fit in ,with whatever they seem to be hoping fits their very blinkered agenda

.It seems to be a trait with some posters "who like" the poorly informed poster

As as said the" happy to help post s" are normally more of a hindrance to what is correct

Labels dnt tell you everything. Millions of eggs produced in Wales. Not one packing factory. Our local producers send them to Norfolk -, They then come back to local Tesco and Co op stores. Madness or what?

We can grow tea, but not in vast quantities, try the Tregothnan Estate I Cornwall.

I've got a camellia tea plant, six inches tall, so not much to go on. wink

Sorry I should have said "grow in sufficient quantities so as not to have to import any", as that is what I thought Fisherman meant. What about essential like spices, bananas, coconuts, which all go into the foodstuff on our shop shelves, even if we could produce the end products, which we can't at the moment.

Has anyone actually ever asked them why?🤷🏻‍♂️, if the world leaders want to cut down on co2 polluting our atmosphere stopping two journeys of coast to coast is a darn good star Fish👍🏻
