Chinese for Xmas ?

Hmm, seriously considering NOT doing the whole big dinner this year. Last year was fabulous, after many years of Xmas Rallies and sitting down to dine with all our friends, we just had our family (& my Mum) so 12 of us sat down to eat together on Xmas Eve at 7pm. it allowed for those who were working to get there and all the kids were then free on Xmas day to go to their OHs families for lunch. We had a lazy Xmas day, watched our youngest grandson open his own pressies for the first time then had our favourite Xmas meal - cold meats, pickles & bubble - yum.

BUT, this year the day falls on a wednesday so everyone will be working Xmas Eve, SiL 'til 10pm, son will be on call Eve & Day, and the others don't know their hours yet !!! Oh and mum has just accepted an invitation to join her neighbours ! Oh well, perhaps we will have a very lazy xmas, when I suggested perhaps we could all get together Boxing Day, daughter said can we get chinese ? I'm now thinking - why not ?

Anyone else going to be a rebel this year ?
