All worth it!!!!

Have just got back from my allotment, and have just put in the oven a lovely bramley apple and blackberry crumble which I will have with ice cream.  Both fruits were picked an hour ago.

On Christmas day, the only thing on my plate not grown on my allotment will be the turkey and the gravy.  Everything else, "new" potatoes, cabbage, sprouts, carrots, parsnips, asparagus (alhough I had to freeze these as there's only a six week window in May/June for these), is what I grow
