Well I enjoyed the first programme and I have not done any serious spotting since I was a kid. Particularly liked the bit of maths that showed you would be able to read the number up to about 750 mph. Not sure I agree, I seem to recall problems at 70 / 80 mph, especially when there is smoke and steam everywhere. I will certainly be watching the two others.

I also watched it, there was a couple of things that i thought a bit  strange ,Dan Snow did not seem to be as "up to speed" with his comments although to hear him talk he is a lifelong train buff, and the curator from the museum seemed out of his depth when faced with having to comment on "todays" railways but overall it was not to bad and ,i will watch tonightSmile
