Went to see the stage production based on Mark Haddon's book at Bristol Hippodrome last night. It's a great night out - if you haven't read the book, it tells the story of a 15 year old autistic boy Christopher investigating the killing of a neighbour's dog. Which sounds a bit grim but is in fact incredibly amusing - you get right nside the boy's mind and laugh along at his reactions to things that happen to him (laughing with him really, not at him!)

The set is very basic with virtually no scenery bu produces some stunning special effects, the acting is excellent and it's topped off with a "not a dry eye in the house" scene near the end. (Won't give the game away but you'll know it once you see it).

Highly recomended if it's coming to a theatre near you.  Happy. Use left and right arrows to navigate.
