Saw this in London when you posted at the time but also saw it again in York yesterday.   It's a truly fantastic show, every seat was taken and it was 3 hours of great music with an excellent cast portraying the trials and tribulations of The Kinks.

Recommended if you can get tickets for the next performance

It's on at Bristol Hippodrome in a couple of weeks time. Unfortunately, we'll be away otherwise we'd have definitely been there. Will have to look out for another run somewhere.

Last week we saw Sunny Afternoon the musical story of the Kinks life.

I am no great fan of theater and musicals but cant remember a better afternoon. The live music was so good I at first thought it was mime and the lead sounded more like Ray Davies than Ray  himself.

It was funny, moving and has great rock music.

We got the tickets before  it won 4 awards so they might be hard to get but if you were around in the 60s and despair of the rubish music produced since do whatever it takes to see it.

Are you saying that the music of the last forty odd years is all rubbish?
