Despite the BBC shamelessly promoting Munchetty on  news programmes for many days now, she put on a very poor performance last night.

No other contestant received anything like that level of publicity that the BBC employee Munchetty had heaped upon her prior to the competition commencing.

Surprised

........and could anyone actually hear anything that fiddle player was playing?

An absolte travesty. I've heard/seen to many heatfelt tributes these past few days. ERASE THAT FROM YOUR MEMORY!

Yes, I am shouting!

Good weekend for strictly.  Ed Balls is really entertaining, for somebody who has never danced, he is improving every week. No chance of winning but good on him.

It was right that Daisy went out tonight, she has peaked.

Cheers ......K

Lots of good dancers left, Robert Rinder should be next to go.

Think overall Daisy was the best dancer. So really the better dancer went out.

Reminds me why I no longer watch SCD when really good dancers are constantly canned to keep a clown,  Ed Balls should now do the decent thing, except of course he's a politician so don't hold your breath.

Well, did Gangnam style do it for you?

Sorry Ed, no no no ! I've come to the conclusion he has no hip movement at all, in fact very little upper body movement altogether, just a pair of legs moving for all they are worth and arms waving trying to give the impression he is dancing ! Danny is finally top of the leader board where he belongs though so I'm happy, what a dance that was ! Fab-u-lous !

Write your comments here...Hi Alison

A bit under the weather this week, so watched more than my fair share of tele. Watched England beat Scotland at football England beat South Africa at rugby. England doing well in the cricket, Hamilton on pole fore todays GP, all good stuff, but nothing gave more entertainment this week than Ed and Katya last night.

Dancing perhaps not as good as the others, but by far the best fun to watch.

.....A-maz-ing darling, lolWink

without doubt the best effort on tv this weekend, the GP was like watching (wet) paint dry bu comparison....

previously Ed was poor, and the botched lift last week should have undone him.....however, we wouldn't have got to see this wonderful effort, slinging Katya round like a whirlygig....

O.M.G. perhaps, but for all the right reasons....rivetting stuffHappy

On the contrary 63ellesbells, just my opinion based on the fact that the majority of dancers are very good and the worst will not be eliminated for a week or two yet, its not rocket scienceSurprised

As for using spoilers, never have and never will, I seem to remember you throwing these accusations about during the last series, you seem to be the expert on the spoilers....UndecidedCool

Hhhhmmm....Me thinks you've remembered this the wrong way round BT, memory is a wonderful thing, if you can remember to remember it correctly

Agree, Not rocket science at all, as you've demonstrated for a few weeks now

I stand corrected 63e,Embarassed Now that you jog my declining grey cells, it was my reply to a post from you that was not to dissimilar to mine.

Did you mention rocket science as well, all those months ago?....Wink....Cool

Think Ed should have applied for " I'm a Celeb " !

I think he would be equally entertaining on that show too HH.

Far more watchable as a dancer than he was as a politician (not too difficult to achieve) but it's getting silly now when the likes of Daisy disappear before him.

Partly my fault for not voting I guess EmbarassedWinkCool

The Title  "Strictly Come dancing" suggests that the competition is one of dancing skills, yet a clown wins the public vote each week and proper dancing contestants are sent home. How can that be?

Clearly this is not a dancing skills contest, it is one of general entertainment only.   Ed Balls clowning is good entertainment and as his fame for entertaining gathers it is quite possible that once again the public desire to be entertained will overcome the skills of better dancers.

Just change the name of the programme!
