While we debate the current Strictly and Downton offerings in Norway last week they had a nine-hour special - on knitting !!! It included footage of shearing a sheep, spinning and then knitting a jumper - all live !
Apparently this is not new, four years ago they had a programme showing the outlook from the roof of a train on a seven-hour journey between Bergen and Oslo. It was watched by an audience running into millions, as was a five and a half hour film shot from
a cruise ship and a 12-hour show..about a fire being built ! Our telly doesn't seem quite so bad now
