I mentioned elsewhere that Currys and the like are selling off the 'old' model NOW TV boxes for £9.99
They come with a free subscription to one of their channels and we went for the one that came with 2 months free subscription to Sky movies. You also get another month free when you sign up on their web site, so that's three months subscription for £9.99 (and this is 'on demand'......you don't have to wait for the time that it's being broadcast). And at the end of it, you stil have the little box, which turns your TV into a 'smart' TV so that you can get BBC iPlayer and all the other catch-up channels (or you can continue to subscribe to Movies, Sport or Entertainment......if you feel the urge).
Today they have added 'American Sniper' and 'Birdman'......two films that I wanted to watch at the cinema but didn't get around to it.
Pretty good value, I would say.......
