Just watched this programme having taped it last week. What a shocking eye opening look into how our and others Nuclear waste is stored.

Anyone else watch it if not try catchup TV. Worth seeing.

just noted the double l my iPad  doing its own thing again sorry.

Britain's has already had a number of nuclear accidents, the worst was a fire at Windscale (now Sellerfield)  on the 10th October 1957 This was a very severe event and the milk from many miles around the area was not allowed to enter the food chain for a number of months.

Compared to other countries UK nuclear safety is quite good

    Sorry Byron, but in IMO no nuclear problems are ...quite good.

I agree but tis a fact of life that generating electricity has a cost whether it be from coal, oil, wind & water

  Correct, but having worked in the power industry for many years , give me the ones you have listed anytime.
