Just looking a London news and they are showing the London Lumiere which is on for the next 4 nights.  It looks amazing.  Apparently a Boris initiative who thought it would cheer up the capital in a normal dull January.  Think we will pop up there on Saturday to take a look.

Well, we went last night.  Westminster Abbey looked amazing.  I loved the elephant in Regent Street and the flying fish in Piccadilly.  The garden of flowers in Leicester Square were really pretty.  Didn't think a lot of the floating bottles in the fountain in Trafalgar Square though.  Ran out of time to go up to Kings Cross to see the ones there.   Downside were the crowds, it was like a rugby scrum in places.   Certainly boosted London's post Xmas economy though, especially restuarants and bars.  It was a struggle finding somewhere to get in and eat.
