Anybody going to watch this "British Western" series which starts tonight. It's about the construction of the railways and is set in 1870's Yorkshire, and is based on the building of the Ribblehead Viaduct.

I watched it and found it OK but I didn't really think it offered much in the way of difference to many other period dramas. Its a bit like a Cathrine Cookson? I might carry on for an episode or two just to see how it develops

OH agrees with you there on it being a bit like a C.C. story, but did enjoy it. She will certainly be watching the next episode, anyway.
