Deacon Blue

Are there any other fans out there? I went to see these ageing Scottish rockers at Colston Hall in Bristol last night and what a show they put on!  Song after song, hit after hit, they played for over 2 hours without a break and had the place rocking in the aisles from start to finish.

I find 80's groups can be a bit hit and miss when they start touring again after a few years off, but this was an outstanding performance - the best live band I've seen for some time now.

The tour is continuing so if you like live music from this era, don't miss out! (The two piece support group were also particularly good this evening - Lewis & Leigh).

A great nght out (sadly, solo for me - not Mrs M's thing at all!)
