Excellent ending to an excellent thriller, loved the way it started and ended with a suicide vest . Top marks to everyone involved in the making etc .I understand that Netflix have brought the rights to any future episodes , which is a great shame for anyone with only terrestrial TV.

I doubt the bbc would sell this as one of the biggest viewing figures for years.

I suspect it is owned by the production company rather than the BBC.

Bodyguard was made by a company called World Productions which is owned by ITV .Be afraid ..be very afraid ..😀😀.

I thought Netflix had only purchased the right to re show the series in the future not purchased the rights on any new series?

Gripping stuff right to the end. A bit easier to follow than ITV's 'Strangers'. It's difficult to work out who's who and their relevance to the plot with that one. It's not far from the point where I'll give up.

Excellent series -- Gripping, well acted, superb story line.  I really enjoyed every episode.
