just watched another Bargain Hunt episode without Tim Wonacott.. Think the  new format is a bit flat without him, he was a natural. What do you think?

They seem to be using the same script including puns.

Maybe the producers should have taken the opportunity to put a bit of change, new life and vigour in it

ee haven't seen a bargain hunt yet without him.  He was sacked such a long time ago now got fed up of watching the repeats  continually so will certainaly look out for next episodes they are also still using his voice overs on antique road trip which also lets you know it's all repeats

Oh  dear  me  Hostahousey,  you  are  a  little  bit  of  a  softy  !!

To  say  the  show  was  "a  bit  flat"  is  rather  like  saying  the  Atlantic  Ocean  is  a  bit  wet !!  The  two  I  have  seen  without  T W   have  been  sufficient  for  me  to  change  channels  &  watch  the  adverts.  Thomas  Plant  &  Chris  Trevannion  { I think  it  was }  are  good  at  their  own  jobs  but  as  the  Front  of  the  programme  they  just  dont  cut  it  at  all.Frown

Missed Thomas Plant but saw Christina T today, I thought she was ok as a presenter but what was lacking was Tim's wit in the voiceovers in between, but then maybe that was what got him the sack in the first place??? They should get the bloke that does Come Dine with Me, he's hilarious Laughing

I like Bargain Hunt and TWs comments  which injected a bit of humour but found his exagerated mannerisms a bit over the top and tiresome. Why is it that some presenters feel it is necessary to over act - they must presume we have the attention span of a gnat!

He'll probably do a David Dickenson and work for ITV .

I used to like it with Tim and also find it boring now he has gone.   There are so many antiques programme on TV it needs something to make it a bit different or it will just 'die the death'
