I've just heard via Twitter of the very tragic news of the death of James Horner who apparently died this morning in an accident when his plane crashed. He was an amateur pilot and was the only person on board.
He was a great film score composer, who produced the film score for the Titanic and Avatar, amongst other films. A sad loss. RIP James Horner.
