Just heard about the sad passing this week of Simon Cowell who, over many decades campaigned relentlessly to raise our awareness of the plight of wildlife and highlight the need for conservation and care for our countryside and appearing on several related TV shows. He was a passionate advocate for wildlife protection and environmental causes and will be sadly missed.

I missed that news Micky. I knew he was ill but he'd sunk out of my consciousness.
He didn't have the same profile as some other wildlife advocates but his endeavours and work are well admired by many who know of him. We can't afford to lose such advocates.

Yes, Wherenext, a real gentleman and aggressive defender of wildlife, particularly those injured by ‘our’ insensitivity or lack of knowledge and understanding.
