Gift Your Gear

I'm not sure if anyone has heard of Gift Your Gear or donated? I thought it was a great idea so thought I would share with you!

Gift Your Gear is a nationwide initiative that provides outdoor clothing and equipment to UK community organisations, youth groups and charities working with young people in the outdoors. It was founded by Sarah Howcroft, and aims to encourage people to donate unwanted outdoor gear they no longer want or need, to help the next generation get outdoors. Having the right clothing and equipment helps to ensure that outdoor experiences are safe and enjoyable and enables others to benefit from life changing experiences in the great outdoors, regardless of their circumstance.

Gift Your Gear has partnered with Rohan, the outdoor and travel clothing company, so you can drop off your unwanted rucksack, waterproofs, fleeces, outdoor trousers, insulated jackets, hats and gloves, including children’s outdoor clothing, at any Rohan Shop during September. In return Rohan are offering 15% off a full priced purchase on the same day as a qualifying Gift Your Gear donation.
