York Rowntree park booking cancelled

Just found out online that CC have cancelled my York Rowntree Park booking for November because of the building work.

Surely they shouldn't have made pitches available as they obviously knew when the work was taking place.

Also no notification from CC, only found out by looking at my bookings online.

Very disappointed, not only because we'd booked that particular weekend to visit St.Nicholas fayre, but also because I think CC knew building work was happening and should have informed us at time of booking that there was a possibility booking would be cancelled.
