would you move pitch?

Hi - I am new to caravanning - I have a Pennine folding camper for me and my 2 boys ages 7 & 9. I've just returned from Pinewoods in Norfolk where the pitches are designated. I accidentally erected my folding camper on the wrong pitch partly due to being mis-directed by a staff member & got a visit from security at 9pm (i.e. after I'd spent 2-3hrs setting up!) insisting I move to my own pitch. I tried to explain but to no avail.

I just want to know if other caravanners have been asked to move to a different pitch after they've already set up? And if they mind? Or is this considered acceptable in the caravanning world?

I really did mind and refused to move but Pinewoods hounded me nearly every day of my holiday - even threatening to call the police! As a newbie I'm am neither confident nor fast at folding & unfolding my camper, plus I have 2 kids to look after on my own, so I was not willing to move pitch.

Anyway, I would really appreciate other members' views.
