With thanks to the Wardens

As Chairman of the Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team I would like to express our thanks to the Wardens at the Troutbeck Head CC. This morning they handed to the team a cheque for over £1,000, the result of their fundraising efforts throughout  the season. Running a busy site like Troutbeck takes a lot of work yet they have tirelessly come up with many initiatives to which Club Members have responded in a very generous way. The team is having a busy year with many serious incidents so the money is much needed and appreciated.

 The site is closing for the winter this weekend and we wish the wardens all the best and hope they enjoy their much earned rest before starting again in 2015.
