White peg position

Does anyone know why the position of the pitch peg has been changed?  (Is it on all sites?) I don’t really want to look out onto my car from my awning and would much prefer it was behind my caravan with the caravan in the middle of the pitch.  It also means the grassed area to the side of the pitch remains unused or a s that the intention?

We are now a Cayton village site ant the top half of the site the shingle beach type hardstands all have the White peg in the corner of the pitches ,they are not wide but quite deep, to enable car to be parked on the front of the pitch but will still allow an awning to be used

I reckon that you are a little bit out Jill as it could not have been caravan > car > awning  as you would have nothing to attach the awning to wink

 I noticed Jill's faux pas too .... 😉

it might have been intentional 🙄

Yep!.as noted when the "we want to be together" site users pitch awning to awning ,but fail to maintain a gap wide enough for fire engines to attend  worse than your avatar pictureyell

My daughter recently stayed on a Haven static site and from her account, the vans were substantially less than 6m apart. Given that this is a national chain, I am somewhat surprised. Are statics subject to different rules or is CAMC out of date?
