Where can I take my tourer and tent together Lakes

Hi All

I would like to book a long weekend in the Lake District and plan to take my van and meet with friends who have a tent.  I have looked but am finding it difficult to find a site where the caravan and tent can be sited together? My friends have young children who will go to bed earlier , hence the need for close proximity.  Can anyone advise?
