wheelchair friendly sites

My partner has just had to resort to a wheelchair age 73. he has lung disease and can walk a very short way eg. steps and rough ground to over come obstacles. Can anyone advise us of sites where it is possible to push a wheelchair and enjoy nature reserves or other rural or coastal areas. We have a motorhome but like to use the bus to get around and explore new places. Any suggestions welcome.
