Weve just come back from a site near Asbourne that regularlly gets awards. What does it take to get these awards just facilities like the on site pool, pub, cafe & playground & even a brewery.  We were there when it was quiet but I reckon that in hi season it would be very noisy.the pitches are quite close to the pub, playground  & cafe which have a outside tables with kids running about etc. The piches were also close together as well and bounded by high leylanndi.

with approx 200 pitches plus a few statics the place would be heaving. we will not be back as we like a more tranquil site like most CC ones. they even gave us a form to vote for them that went in the bin.
