Today,a friday in july,I drove past the sites at Garlieston.I have never seen so many vacant pitches (both sites) at this time of year!Are people not spending the money or has the return to continental travel caused the downturn?

Well if its being raised time and again and folk are still complaining about the price and booking system, that should sound alarm bells ring in HO. So many members are not happy and feel that the club they have been a member of for so many years, feel they have been abandoned.

It doesn't bother me what a site charges because if I'm not happy to pay the price i will go elsewhere. But there are some members who feel part of the CAMC family and only ever use their sites. With the prices being charged they are starting to look around and have realised they can get good sites at better prices.

The club are trying different things to counter the affect of the appalling bad booking process and new T&Cs but is it working. High prices and bad experiences are all over CT and other platforms in complaints.

I suppose in the circumstances and presumably with easy access to Silverstone £68 might just about be justified. However personally I think its way more than should be asked and to be honest exploitative. However if you want to pay it its your business

AD I did say that in my opinion it was good value and to be honest with the facilities provided by the golf club and the proximity to the entrance to the circuit I would be happy to pay more. However happy to accept your opinion as I hope you do mine.

Repeated?, I’m no wiser but you’ve started a chain reaction now KJ. I never mentioned repeated. My post was a stand alone post. You have interjected TG has picked it up & is continuing it & I am left bemused🤷🏻‍♂️
