Weekends which are always full everywhere

Anyone else out there with a gripe over the constantly full bookings at weekends only, vacant pitches galore during the week but where is one supposed to go then after thursday especially if on a 2 or 3 week tour? I am talking in general about non peak times such as holidays. This year we had to more or less arrange a whole years worth of touring before the online booking opened and then just go for it, and even then couldn t manage our itinieries as sites were fully booked just on the weekends and sometimes only the one night of a weekend,  how can the club address this issue? Its highly frustrating and I do not consider the late availability section to be of any use at all, wouldn t it be better if the on site wardens had control of their bookings, that way they could act at their discretion, what use is a late avaiability on line for tomorrow when you have more or less decamped the night before and mentally prepared for the off?
