Does anyone know if there is an alternative walking route from the Burford site to Burford?

Google maps only shows a route along the A361 which is very busy and doen't have a footpath as far as I can see.

There are no public footpaths (from or near the site)  on the OS 1:25000. It’s one of the reasons we have never used it. Even when we had a caravan we liked to be able to walk from the site. Sorry about the quality of the map, having to resize to 500k doesn’t do a lot for a detailed map.

There is an alternative site if you just want to visit Burford. You can see it marked on Steve's map near the roundabout. I did try to use it once but it was fully booked for the time I wanted to go so can't say how good or bad it is but there are bound to be reviews on UKCampsites.

The alternative DK refers to is Wysdom Touring Park -  just google that name to get website and photographs. It’s a bit noisy by the main road but a very useful situation for those who want to walk into Burford town.
Their pricing structure is attractive too at £20 per night for two adults,  two dogs and 16amp electricity, but that goes up to £25 on Bank Holidays - all specified clearly on their website (unlike various CLs publicised on here recently as only having prices listed as “From” )

Thanks all.. It’s a shame but can’t do anything about it..! I will have a look at Wysdom Touring Park as suggested.
